Sandvik Smith Releases Improved Charger QX2 Roller Cone Rock Bit

Ponca City,OK-Sandvik Smith announced today improvements in the sealed bearing system of its popular Charger~(R)QX2~(R)roller cone rock bit for blasthole mining.Sandvik Smith has significantly improved the reliability of the Charger QX2's bearing system by developing a new proprietary grease and changing the design of the bearing geometry.As a result of these innovations,Charger QX2 now provides even greater extended service hours and lower drilling costs.
