A note on the Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model

An analytic expression is obtained for the constant C{sup}cp in the Baldwin-Lomax model by comparing self-similar solutions for velocity in a constant pressure incompressible flow that arebased on the Cebeci-Smith and Baldwin-Lomax models; both models are shown to give identical results when the model C{sup}cp has a specific analytical form.
