REDESCRIPTION OF BOLBOPHOROUS CONFUSCUS (KRAUSE, 1914) DUBOIS, 1935 (DIGENIA : DIPLOSTOMATIDAE (POIRIER, 1886) DUBOIS, 1953) FROM THE GREAT WHITE PELICAN FROM INDIA

摘要

Bolbophorous confuscus (Krause,1914) Dubois, 1935 is redescribed from the Great White Pelican Pelecanus onocrotalus from Allahabad, which is the new host record from India. Although the general morphology of the digenetics collected by the author resemble that of the type species, however there are marked variations in shape and dimensions of certain anatomical features which are commented upon wherever necessary. A statement showing comparative dimensions recorded by different authors along with the author's collection is given.
