Composition of the Essential Oil of Diplotaenia cachrydifolia Boiss.from Iran

摘要

The authors hydrodistilled the aerial parts of Diplotaenia cachrydifolia Boiss.via a Clevenger-type apparatus.The oil yield was 0.5%.The essential oil was injected to GC/MS; the constituents of the oil were identified by comparison of retention indices and mass spectra with published data.The authors identified 70 components reperesenting 92.4% of the oil.The main components were dillapiole (35.0%),limonene (20.0%) and elemicin (8.9%).
