Volatile Constituents of the Oil of Salvia hydrangea DC.ex Benth.Form Iran

摘要

Dried flowering plants of salcia hydrangen DC.ex Benth.were collected from Isfaham(Isfahan province)in June 2001 and hydrodistilled to produce a light-yellow oil at the yield of 0.2%.The oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS.Twenty-eight compounds were identified,among which beta-caryophyllene(33.4%)and caryophyllene oxide(25.4%)were the major constituents.
