摘要

Using light and electron microscopy,a dynamics of functioning of salivary glands of female ticks of the genus Ixodes was studied.Comparative analysis of morphofunctional changes and role of the salivary gland secretions of females of subfamilies Ixodinae and Amblyomminae during feeding was performed on the basis of literature data and our own studies.
