Techniques for Drug Delivery in Small Mammals

Exotic small mammal species can pose interesting and unique challenges for drug delivery. Many species are inherently difficult to medicate, such as African pygmy hedgehogs (Atelerix albiventris). Options for drug administration may be limited by small patient size.
