Vincents Quality Auto Care - Owner calls his a 'mom-and-pop' shop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - There has always been a place on America's business landscape for the small, independent local shop. Although not as common as in times past, you can still find the occasional mom-and-pop grocery, the independent hardware store, and even the corner garage where cars are being repaired by hardworking men with a little grease on their hands. Vincent's Quality Auto Care is such a place. Owner Kent Vincent put his shop into perspective for us this way: "It's been a mom-and-pop shop for a long time. My dad's been in it since the sixties ... he still helps me now some. In '96 he decided to get out of the business and I decided to get back in the business, so we switched locations and here we are," he said.
