摘要

Two solvents, i.e. acetone and acetonitrile, were tested for the extraction of beta-cyfluthrin residues from cabbage and cauliflower (curd and its leaves), whereas solvent mixtures of acetone-water (3:1) and acetonitrile-water (3:1) were tested for the extraction of the same pesticide from the soil. Quantification was carried out using GLC fitted with Ni63-ECD detector. Acetone was considered good for extraction of cabbage and cauliflower curds; acetone-water (3:1) for soil samples; and acetonitrile for cauliflower leaves. Dichloromethane [methylene chloride] was the best partitioning solvent for cabbage and cauliflower curd and leaves, while ethyl acetate was optimum for partitioning of soil extracts. In case of cauliflower leaves, Florisil-charcoal (2%) was preferred as adsorbent for clean up, while Florisil gave best efficiency in all other cases..
