A new species of Miscogasteriella Girault (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) viz., M. bijoyi sp. nov. has been described from Southern Western Ghats, Kerala, India and the species M. jayasreeae sureshan is reported from Kerala subsequent to the original description in 1997. Affinities of the new species with related species are discussed and a key to the Indian species of Miscogasteriella is also provided.
