Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) has been reported to be an effective alternative to open surgical repair.1'2 Since its introduction into clinical practice more than two decades ago, endovascular stent-grafting has progressed rapidly, following improved understanding of the strengths and limitations of various stent-grafts and treated patient populations.3"6 Endovascular technology has evolved to produce fenestrated stent-grafts, which are designed to deal with short-necked and juxtarenal aneurysms.
