摘要

It is shown that at generation of difference frequency by a doublet of non-collinearly propagating optical waves it is possible to obtain THz radiation emitted in the direction perpendicular to the lateral surface of a periodically poled crystal. Such configuration is shown to promote an essential increase in the generation power due to elimination of absorption of THz wave in nonlinear crystals.
