To the Editor: Data concerning the effects of freezing, thawing, and storage on serum thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and thyroid hormones [free thyrox-ine (fT4) and free triiodothyronine (fT3)] are scarce (1-3), and we can find no data on their effects on thyroid autoantibodies [thyroid-peroxi-dase antibody (TPO-Ab) and thyro-globulin antibody (TG-Ab)].
