摘要

The ITN C YCLON network was formed in 2008 as a consortium of eight academic groups from five Universities and three Research Centers, specializing in various aspects of drug delivery systems based on cyclodextrins and their applications. A few of the participating groups specializing in photochemistry/photophysics added a new direction in the range of possible applications of the cyclodextrins. The groups teamed up with one very dynamic and historical company, CycloLab (Cyclodextrin Research & Development Laboratory) of Budapest, which is the world's largest and only all-round cyclodextrin research and development laboratory.
