RBI unveils special scheme for elderly

THE Reserve Bank of India has offered post-dated half-yearly interest warrants in advance to senior citizens who have invested in relief or savings bonds. "The investors (first holder in case of joint holding) of 65 years of age and above,having investments with the public debt office Reserve Bank of India,New Delhi,are eligible to avail the facility," RBI said in a release.
