摘要

The synthesis, structure and optical limiting properties of bis[2-ethoxycarbonylsulfanyl-1,2-bis (methylthio)-1-ethenetiolato]nickel, an S-methylated derivative of nickel dithiolenes prepared by part cleavage of 4,5-bis(methylthio)-1,3-dithiole-2-one followed by reacting with nickel salts are reported. The limiting threshold of the complex is 0.8 J cm~(-2) for 35 ps laser pulses at 532 nm which is comparable to that observed in C_(60).
