Risedronate improves bone mineral density in Crohn's disease: A complementary mechanism

I read with great interest the paper by Soo and colleagues entitled "Risedronate improves bone mineral density in Crohn's disease: A two year randomized controlled clinical trial."1 This work addressed that Risedronate can increase bone density in Crohn's disease. I would like to complete the discussion of Soo et al. by introducing a major complementary route which Risedronate could improve bone volume.
