Dear Sir,Crohn's disease (CD), a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), is a chronic transmural inflammatory disease of the gut which can occur anywhere from the mouth to the anus. The anatomical phenotype of CD varies between patients and has significant implications in terms of treatment options, complications and prognosis.
