Furthermore, in today's world spirituality is emerging as a generic concept void of religious connotation, and religion has fallen out of favor. Yet, for Christian nurses, spirituality and religion are intricately intertwined. How can religion be reintegrated into spiritual care?The goal of this article is to revisit the concepts of spirituality and religiosity using fresh perspectives. Current understanding of the two concepts is presented, highlighting the most relevant issues in the latest literature.
