I had been sitting at my computer with my phone at hand for 2 hours, anxiously awaiting an important call. I waited longer, only to be disappointed by silence. Suddenly an e-mail message beamed in saying the individual had called twice, heard a voice-mail message, and wondered what had happened. Mystified, I replied immediately with an e-mail saying I had been at my phone the entire time.
