摘要

Based on the principle of unity of opposites in natural tree growth and wilting, a competition model is developed namely a competition algorithm of simulating natural tree growth. To verify the algorithm, it is applied to complicated curve fitting. Compared to the standard genetic algorithm, the results show that this algorithm runs faster with lower memory, and has higher precision. This algorithm may provide a novel solution to design and calculation of optimization.
