摘要

The operator space and discrete phase space aspects of quantum transport, quantum computing, and quantum information are the focus of this review. We give an overview of the operator space methods and show how this leads to the construction of Wigner distribution function in both con-tinuum and discrete phase space on finite fields. We also formalized the construction of entangled basis states of multi-qubit systems based on discrete phase space methodology. Based on this viewpoint a discussion of quantum teleportation and dense coding schemes in quantum computing and quantum information are given. A brief review of quantum algorithms is also given.
