Below is another example of the comparison of the 2 standards-Association of Medical Instrumentation/ American National Standards Institute (AAMI/ANSI) EQ56 and the Joint Commission medical equipment and other standards. Two topics, "communication between service agents and service providers" and "communication between the service provider and the health care organization," will be reviewed.
