Purpose: EGFR is frequently overexpressed in cervical cancer, suggesting EGFR blockade as a promising treatment approach. Cetuximab, an anti EGFR antibody, used conjointly with radio-chemotherapy, was feasible in first-line treatment of cervix carcinoma limited to the pelvis.
