Personal computers have become increasingly cheaper since the late seventies.Thus,it has become more common to connect the data output of instruments to a personal computer.Most instruments that send measurement information as a voltage signal have been connected to computers,and now it seems that most instruments either are available with a computer already connected or an internal,model-specific inboard CPU.
