Asked to name a toy that is cheap and clean and will fascinate kids for hours (minutes, at least), many parents will suggest a bottle of "bubble stuff". Questioned further, these "adults" will then admit that they too enjoy waving the wand in the air, watching the array of spheres form, and wishing the creations would last longer than a few seconds.
