One of the most interesting of the scientific episodes in the Nova production Percy Julian-Forgotten Genius (1) was the very public disagreement between Percy Julian and Robert Robinson as to the identity of "eserethole", an intermediate in the synthesis of the alkaloid eserine, also known as physostigmine.
