摘要

A new decavanadate with mixed cations, [Mn(H_2O)_6]_2[N(CH_3)_4]_2[V_(10)O_(28)] centre dot 2H_2O (1), was crystallized from a hydrothermal reaction between MnCO_3 to V_2O_5 in the presence of N(CH_3)_4Br at 100 deg C. The structure of 1, as determined by x-ray single crystal analysis, consists of cations and anions of hexa-aqua manganese [Mn(H_2O)_6]~(2+), tetramethyl ammonium [N(CH_3)_4]~+ and decavanadate [V_(10)O_(28)]~(6-). The extended H-bonding between the [Mn(H_2O)_6]~(2+) and [V_(10)O_(28)]~(6-) ions gives rise to a pseudo- two-dimensional network in the crystal lattice x-ray crystallographic data for 1: monoclinic P2_1, a = 9.1499(5), b = 12.8725(7), c = 18.625(1) A, #beta# = 92.252(1) deg, V = 2192.0(2) A~3, MZ = 2, and D_(calcd) = 2.22 g cm~(-3).
