The 7th Winter Symposium on Chemometrics, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 15-19 February 2010

The Winter Symposium on Chemometrics (WSC) was held in the suburbs of Saint Petersburg, famous for its beauty all over the world. WSC-7 brought together academic scientists, industrial experts and many young chemometricians. The symposium was organized under the auspices of the Russian Chemometrics Society; the Saint Petersburg State Technological University of Plant Polymers; University of Aalborg (Esbjerg) and the Lappeenranta University of Technology. About 80 attendees from 20 different countries took part in the conference (Figure 1).
