New portal serving the biophotonics community

Sacramento (California, USA) -The Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology (CBST) has teamed up with the Canadian Institute for Photonics Innovations (CIPI) to create an online resource for biophotonics education, research, and industry -BiophotonicsWorld. Taking social cues from sites like Facebook, BiophotonicsWorld is now ready to react quickly to the community. Initial work on the portal has focused on critical components in- cluding: 1) a resource for teaching and learning, 2) a repository of research information, 3) a meeting place for educators, researchers, and members from industry, and 4) a place to find the latest news and job opportunities.
