Our report presented the case of a patient who developed two episodes of Kounis syndrome following amoxicillin oral intake and a cutaneous systemic reaction after he was licked on the face by his dog [1].In response to Kounis, with whom we completely agree, we would like to outline the importance of correct patient education on allergen avoidance, following a drug allergy diagnosis.
