摘要

The articles by Greven and colleagues (Greven, Rijsdijk, Asherson & Plomin, 2012) and Rosenberg and colleagues (Rosenberg, Pennington, Willcutt & Olson, 2012) presented in this issue are focused on a well established but still unexplained observation-that specific reading disability (SRD) and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) co-occur in the same individuals much more often than would be expected by chance, given the population rates of both of these developmental disorders. Both articles provide brief overviews of the research on co-occurrence, summarizing for the reader what was known prior to their publication.
