Throughout my professional career, I have worn many hats in the legal system. I have played the roles of attorney and counselor at law, negotiator, mediator, expert witness and even juror. Without question, the most influential of these roles is that of the expert witness. Why? Because the expert witness is able to do two things that no one else can do in the courtroom — not the judge, not the jury, not the attorneys, not even the other witnesses.
