The incidence of foreign bodies in the stomach of camels (Camelus dromedarius)

The presence of foreign bodies in the stomach (compartment I and II) was surveyed in 337 camels. 40.4 percent of the investigated camels had foreign bodies of various sizes, weights and types: they included bones, trichobezoars, strings, ropes, plastics, rags, canvas and hard, partly calcified bodies.
