LKAB (Sweden) raises iron ore output and shipments in Q3

Sweden's LKAB increased iron ore output to 6.7 mt in the third quarter of the year, 15% up quarter-on-quarter. Shipments rose by 16%, reaching 6.5 mt, pellets accounting for 5.4 mt of the volume. As reported earlier, production and shipments in April-June decreased due to technical problems and equipment downtime; strike action and stoppage of loading equipment at Narvik port (Norway) are also among the reasons behind the drop.
