Chinese iron ore market has been extremely slack today. The slowdown is attributed to coming holidays (on Thursday and Friday) and quite sufficient stocks of most buyers. Moreover, importers expect prices to drop further given already falling raw material quotations, along with negative situation in the finished steel market.
