Ilyich Steel (Ukraine) to cut steel products output in February

Ukraine’s Ilyich Steel intends to make 340,000-345,000 t of steel products in February, 3-4% less than in January. Its mill 3000 is planned to produce 130,000 t of plate (2% down month-on-month), 10,000-15,000 t of which will be shipped domestically and the rest will be exported. HR mill 1700 will produce 133,000-135,000 t of flats (2-3% down). Around 15,000 t of its output will be sold to local buyers, and the rest will be dispatched to foreign markets.
