The situation in the Thai longs market is still tense as demand softens gradually on seasonal factors. Nonetheless, local buyers show some interest in purchases (mainly because of reconstruction works), so producers are able to keep offers up so far. Suppliers have not revised their prices for finished longs and semis after moving square billet quotations down by $19-22/t (or THB 0.6-0.7/kg at the exchange rate $1 = THB 31.8162) two weeks earlier.
