The Saudi Arabian rebar producer Al-Yamamah Steel Industries is not planning to resume investmentsinto the construction of a 1 million tpy steel melt shop soon because of the difficulties with the electricpower availability. The project is aimed at feeding the company’s 600,000 tpy rebar mill with own billets.
