Vietnam Germany Steel to commission new rolling mill

On December 5, Vietnam Germany Steel completed construction and installation of a new 190,000tpy bar mill at the plant in Binh Xuyen Industrial Zone in Vinh Phuc province.According to the steelmaker’s press release, the installation of the new rolling mill took about eightmonths. Currently, the hot trials are underway at the site. Official commissioning is scheduled for December15. As a result, the longs capacity will increase by 54% to 540,000 tpy.
