Russia’s MMK has announced that it has repaid in full and ahead of schedule investment loans it raisedto fund construction of its steel plant in Turkey.As a result, the group’s total debt was reduced by $403 million.The company will significantly improve its balance sheetand reduce future interest payments. In total MMK raised morethan $1 billion in loans due in 2019 to fund construction ofMMK Metalurji launched in 2007.
