Thailand’s Millcon Steel Industries has contracted Italy’s Danieli for supplying a new high-powertechnology package for 70-tonne EAF (500,000 tpy) installed at Millcon Burapa Steel in Rayong province.The upgrade of the EAF power system is targeted to increase melting power and to reduce tap-to-taptime, according to the contactor’s announcement.
