Four-roll reducing and sizing solutions give better dimensional accuracy for SB Q mills

Driven by increasingly demanding market requirements, engineering companies are elaboratingthe new techniques to improve product quality and mill productivity. The recently introduced 4-rollreducing and sizing solutions ensure very accurate dimensional tolerances, an excellent surface finishand a precisely controlled metallurgical micro-structure. A very wide range of sizes may be processedwith a given diameter of profiled rolls, limiting the requirement of roll sets, with savings of both capitaland operational expenditures. As operations of roll change and setup are reduced, the utilization andtherefore productivity of the mill are greatly improved.
