A month after Hurricane Sandy, damaged washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators lay like fallen sentries along the roads in Sea Bright, N.J. The force of the wind and water had ripped the siding off of buildings, pushed some on their sides, washed away the foundations, and completely obliterated others. A road named Cheerful Place and the Water Witch Sandwich Shop were just some of the casualties in the seaside town.
