Summer always seems to begin with a rush. The sense that anything is possible takes hold. By June, homeowners have more ideas for contractor-based and do-it-yourself projects than they could complete in a year. Some homeowners are so ardent in their get-to-it spirit that they seek equipment or supplies from a nearby manufacturer or distributor. A manufacturer can simply point homeowners in the direction of the nearest distributor for the manufacturer's products. A distributor can aim to successfully serve the needs of both contractors and homeowners. Selling a bit of residential cleaning equipment to homeowners - in addition to primary sales to contractors - can open a valuable vein of information. It is information the distributor can share with manufacturers on one side and contractors on the other, and it can improve sales for all.
