摘要

Low-voltage electrical burns of the hand are not an uncommon mode of trauma. Usually, the contact, entry site develops a deep necrotic wound of few millimeters on the volar aspect, which heals spontaneously with proper dressing. A larger wound of full-thickness burn generally results in denudation of flexor tendons or neurovascular bundles at the end of a thorough debridement. Palmar soft tissue defects exposing those structures call for a flap. A local flap that does not injure an adjacent finger is ideal for coverage of such wounds. There were two young male patients with deep burns of the palmar aspect of middle fingers in dominant hands.
