The rugs we cleaned in our shop and the rugs I am discussing in this article may be woven of wool and other natural fibers or synthetics. They include handmade and machine-made rugs that are either Oriental or in the Oriental style. They range from a rug with olefin face yarn made at a factory in Europe to collectible handmade works of art. Should rugs be protected following cleaning? Do you promote this service at your rug plant? Is a protector really beneficial?
