Linkedln, now considered the most important social media platform by 60 percent of active social networkers, still creates heated conversation at the water cooler and in the boardroom.Before a recent Linkedln workshop, a senior salesperson told me that she was not the least bit interested in Linkedln and that she was only there because her presence was mandated. She said she was a great networker and did not see any need to learn something new. I simply asked her to be open-minded. With that said, we went to the workshop. She didn't bring a laptop to work on and left the three-hour session twice.I am not fazed by comments like hers. I know that Linkedln is one of the top tools of all time for business professionals, especially in sales, marketing and human resources.
