Las Vegas, Nev., provided a high-energy backdrop for the 68th Annual RIA Leadership Summit & Industry Expo. Exhibitors and speakers had an opportunity to reach the largest crowd ever at an RIA convention—almost 900 attendees. Since it was Vegas, some celebrities (OK, celebrity impersonators) visited throughout the event. "George W. Bush" stumbled into the VIP reception, said a few words, cracked some jokes and posed for pictures with volunteers. In the exhibition hall, "Austin Powers" gave away thousands of dollars to lucky attendees. Plus, Phat Strad wowed the crowd with its classic rock "couture".
