Contractors could face a delay in construction work at a port in California as the city fights a lawsuit filed by environmental groups.The Natural Resources Defense Council(NRDC)and DeltaKeeper filed the lawsuit July 27,claiming the massive port expansion fails to mitigate significant increases in air,water and noise pollution.The plan could generate industrial activity within 400 feet of residences,according to the lawsuit filed in San Joaquin County Superior Court in California.
